This electronic manual provides patient materials for the Casper-Stone Confidential Flow Therapy (CSCFT) for individuals with voice disorders, for whom this treatment is indicated.  The program was created on basic science foundations in biomechanics, biology, perceptual-motor learning, and factors known to affect patient compliance.  The program has undergone a clinical trial funded by the National Institutes of Health (Katherine Verdolini Abbott, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, Principal Investigator) with favorable results for teachers with phonogenic voice problems.  The Manual provides patient information for individuals receiving the program, as well as details on a personalized and targeted “voice care” (vocal hygiene) program that the clinician has developed for the patient, as well as homework sheets that will guide the patient’s home practice for the duration of the program.  Clinicians who have completed the Voice Therapy Spectrum course (Lessac-Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy and Casper-Stone Confidential Flow Therapy) are authorized to provide these therapies and to provide CSCFT Patient Manuals to individuals who are receiving the CSCFT program from an authorized clinician.  Unlimited printing is allowed.
